On Saturday the 11th of July, Feltrinelli Bookshop will play host to the Downbeat Blindfold Test, which returns to Umbria Jazz following its success during last year’s edition. Ted Panken of Downbeat Magazine, one of the America’s most noted music critics, will put Enrico Pieranunzi to the test in a music culture quiz: the journalist will play a series of jazz standards to test the painists musical knowledge who will attempt to name the piece and its author.
